Documentation for TubeFinder 2.1 -------------------------------- Calculates simple routes round the London Tube system. Based on public domain tube database and search algorithm of Russ Heath. Not *guaranteed* to find the quickest route, but it *will* get you there! This version released as freeware. v2.1 is v2.0 re-done to work in 3 or 3a mode depending on which machine it's being run on. v2.0 was v1.0 plus some extra work done by Jan Willem Ruys Installation: ============== Put the TUBE.OPA file in an \APP directory on any drive and install using Psion-I. Make a TUBE subdirectory from the same \APP directory (i.e. \APP\TUBE) and put all the other files there, apart from TUBE.TXT, the one you're reading now! 8-) Steve Litchfield, October 1995 PS. There is an option to set default departure and arrival stations, by modifying the .dbf file which you can set-up as M:\OPD\TUBE.DBF The first field should contain your desired departure station, and the second field your desired arrival station. If this database is not found, defaulting is skipped. PPS. Note that Mapper-3a/London is now available as fully working shareware for the Psion 3a and Pocketbook II. It is currently at v1.4 (Oct 95) and contains a fully zoomable vector map of the capital, with overlays for roads, railways, tube lines, pizza restaurants, golf courses and much much more. The file name to look out for is MAPL14.ZIP or similar. It has the ability to launch TubeFinder directly.
